Property consists of a large conservation lake, slough and flooded crop field, 4 duck ponds, and 3 small cattle ponds. It has scenic rolling hills, mesquite and wood patches and cultivated wheat and milo fields. The large conservation lake holds hundreds of ducks and geese throughout the winter ranging from Teal, Gadwall, Canvasbacks, Ring Necks, Blue Bills, Wigeon, Pintails, and Mallards. A majority of the geese show up in good numbers during the early Canadian Resident Season in September allowing you to hunt both Canadas and Teal during the early season. The 4 duck ponds range from 1/2-1 1/2 acres in size planted with wheat, and the slough is seasonal flooding out a milo field during the winter months. Several cattle ponds are scattered throughout the property for excellent dove hunting. This area offers some of the best dove hunting in North Texas with its ample food source of wheat and milo, water, and mesquite pastures.
This will be a cooperate style lease that will allow you to bring guests during dove season which is now 20 days longer, waterfowl season including early goose season, coyote and bobcat hunting, or fishing for Bass and Catfish during the summer.
